Create your own Open Day

Volume 8 Number 8 August 13 - September 9 2012

New technology means every visitor to the University of Melbourne Open Day can create a personal itinerary before they even arrive.

Open Day at Melbourne is for finding out about the University from the people who know it best and value it most.

It’s an opportunity for visitors to discover the Parkville and Southbank campuses and learn about what the University offers, from courses and admission requirements to student clubs and societies, and to explore its laboratories and lecture theatres, its cafes and gardens, and the local Carlton and Parkville community of which the University is an integral part.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Glyn Davis says Open Day is one of the most important events of the year.

“It’s a day when we open our beautiful campus to prospective students, parents and friends, and showcase the world-class curriculum and impressive research we have to offer as Australia’s best, and one of the world’s finest universities,” he says.
